Dragon Days Fantasy Festival

Good Manners Policy

The Dragon Days Fantasy Festival™ is in honor of Gary Gygax, the creator of Dungeons & Dragons® (D&D®), the world’s most famous roleplaying game. It’s also in honor of the City of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, the birthplace of D&D®. What better way to honor both than by having a family-friendly, safe, and inviting time at the Dragon Days Fantasy Festival™? Common sense and good manners can ensure that the Festival is a happy experience. Here are a few guidelines:

Dress:

  • Shoes must be worn at all times.

  • Clothing depicting rude, vulgar, and otherwise offensive language or images is not permitted. Clothing in multiple layers may be subject to search.

  • Festival Management reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any patron wearing attire that we deem inappropriate.

Behavior:

  • Patrons are asked to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for a family-friendly event. Unruly, disruptive, or offensive behavior, including failing to adhere to posted safety regulations, is prohibited.

  • Patrons using profanity or abusive language, including symbols or gestures, may be escorted from the premises and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Patrons who appear intoxicated, under the influence of illegal substances, or exhibit any other illicit or belligerent behavior will be escorted from the park without refund and/or turned over to the proper authorities.

Children:

  • Children must be supervised at all times. Patrons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older to enter Elm Park (for the outdoor festivities) or to enter any of the indoor events. If you lose a child, please contact any Festival worker for assistance.

Miscellaneous:

  • Smoking (whether cigarettes or vaping)—Allowed only in designated smoking areas.

  • Photography—Patrons grant the Dragon Days Fantasy Festival permission to be photographed, filmed, and video/audio recorded on-site without compensation for any reason. Commercial photography is prohibited within the Dragon Days Fantasy Festival without explicit written consent from Festival Management.

  • Inclement Weather—Festival Management reserves the right to shut down during dangerous weather conditions. There are no refunds for inclement weather.

  • Bag Checks—All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks within the Dragon Days Fantasy Festival, whether indoors or outdoors. Festival Management reserves the right to not allow any bag, parcel, or other item to be brought into the park. Please leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk.
