Calling all Local Dining and Retail Business Owners who would like their establishments to be featured during our Dragon Days™ Fantasy Festival, September 27th, 28th, and 29th in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin!
Greetings Local Merchant,
The Dragon Days™ Fantasy Festival, is a fun-filled fantasy festival for families, fantasy fans, and gamers alike! This city-wide extravaganza celebrates the City of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, as the Birthplace of Dungeons & Dragons®!
Events will be held at several venues throughout Lake Geneva, including Library Park, Geneva Stage, Geneva Lake Museum, 330 Center Street—Birthplace of D&D®, Lake Geneva Public Library, American Legion Hall, and Horticultural Hall. There will also be groups of festival goers walking around on map-guided tours, circulating through the entire downtown and surrounding area. This increased foot traffic will begin on Friday evening and be heaviest on Saturday and Sunday, predominantly during the festival hours between 10 am and 5 pm.
We are seeking to promote local businesses that carry any sort of fantasy or dragon themed merchandise if they have it, or food or drink. Since we are not offering any food or drink service at any of our venues, our attendees will be looking to local eateries, shops, and drinking establishments. There will be many families with children in attendance, so offerings should consider this audience as well as gamers and D&D® fans of all ages.
Whether you’re in food, fashion, or fun, there’s a magical opportunity awaiting you!
Fantasy Fare: How about renaming a few of your standard items or have a special menu and serve root beer as “Gygax Grog”, draft beer as “Dragon Ale”, or a Shirley Temple as a “Pixie Potion”? Or spice things up with “Red Dragon Wings” instead of buffalo wings, and call those chicken tenders, “Dragon Bites”!
Treasure: We’re not just talking t-shirts. From dragon-themed reads, magical Harry Potter-esque items, to the essential gaming gear like dice and dice bags, anything can be transformed into an enchanting Dragon Days™ Fantasy Festival special!
Benefits for you! As a participating Dragon Days™ Fantasy Festival business, we’ll feature your menus, promotional materials, and eye-catching images on our website. We’ll feature special menus, special offers, and special menu items you may have. Boost your visibility and beckon every festival attendee to your doorstep!
Reward the Adventurers! Every festival-goer will be wearing an admission bracelet. Consider recognizing and offering these adventurers a small discount or special offer if it works for your business — its a fantastic way to increase traffic and sales!

Friday, 5 pm to 6 pm: Opening Ceremony, Library Park
Saturday 10 am to 5 pm: Festival operating hours
Sunday 10 am to 5 pm: Festival operating hours
Weather:
This festival is happening rain or shine! The Fantasy Faire in the park is our outdoor venue but the merchants will be under tents and the performers will have a partial roof over the stage. All other venues are indoors and other than a short walk, attendees will be warm and cozy at one of our many event sites around the city.
