Dragon Days Fantasy Festival

Costume Policy

The Dragon Days Fantasy Festival™ is in honor of Gary Gygax, the creator of Dungeons & Dragons® (D&D®), the world’s most famous roleplaying game. What better way to celebrate it than by dressing up in a D&D® themed fantasy costume?

“Do not need to wear a costume? No—but it’s more fun if you do!”

Here are a few guidelines:

  • Costumes/garb/attire must be family-friendly. It may not be offensive, violent, lewd, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Patrons may not carry weapons or objects that resemble or could be mistaken for an actual weapon unless the item is properly peace-tied. (See Weapons Policy for details.)

  • Use appropriate care if your costume or accessory contains sharp elements or large materials (such as dragon wings) that may accidentally strike a patron or employee.

  • Masks may be worn but must be removed at admittance points. Festival Management also reserves the right to require guests to remove their masks and/or to take their masks off site.

  • Footwear is required at all times.

  • Dragon Days Fantasy Festival reserves the right to refuse entry and/or remove guests who do not adhere to the costume policy, unless the costume or attire can be modified to meet the standards above.
